Registration

What time does registration begin?
Registration begins February 20, 2008.

Can I register by phone?
No. Registration is through the online form on the registration page.

What is the registration fee?
Registration rates are posted on the Registration page.

How can I save on registration?
Registration rates are cheaper for participants who register early.

What are accepted forms of payment for registration?
Conference registration payment is due by June 30, 2009.

Is there a registration deadline?
There is no registration deadline, but we recommend that you register as soon as possible.

If I am unable to attend, what is the cancellation policy?
The last day to request a refund is July 30, 2009.

How do I know if I'm registered?
Everyone who registers has paid will be sent a receipt.

Where can I pick up my badge onsite?
You must register for the conference in advance through the online registration form. You will pick up your conference materials and name badge at the conference registration and information table ar rge conference registration desk.

Travel & Local Information

How do I get from the airport to the campus of GIMPA or Kinsby Hotel?
Free transportation will be provided.

Are there sightseeing activities for families during the conference?
There are many activities in the Accra. You are responsible for making your own sightseeing arrangements. We encourage you and your guests to see the city and visit its many interesting sites. The conference organizers will make sightseeing plans for conference attendees or their guests.
 

Presenting

I am a presenter; do I have to register?
Yes. Although spots for up to three presenters per group will be automatically saved for the conference, each individual presenter needs to fill in a short online registration form. Failure to pay the registration fee could result in the cancellation of your presentation and conference registration. All presenters are responsible for paying their own travel and lodging expenses.

How and when will I find out if my paper has been accepted?
Prospective presenters will be notified by email by June 30, 2009.

Whom should I contact regarding paper submission questions or changes?

What computer equipment will be available for presenters?
Presenters are required to bring their own laptop computer. Mac users should bring their own VGA adapter so that the laptop can connect to the LCD projector. LCD projectors will be available in all breakout rooms.
